Emerging Challenges in Intelligent Management Information Systems. Proceedings of 28th European Conference on Artificial Intelligence ECAI 2025 - IMIS Workshop
Abstract (EN)
This article explores barriers and enabling factors related to the implementation of intelligent information management systems (IIMS) in Polish enterprises. Based on qualitative data from company representatives, key challenges include limited financial resources, lack of consulting support, organizational resistance, and insufficient training. Implementation is often conditional on company growth, operational pressure, or demonstrable benefits. The findings highlight the need for integrated support packages that combine funding, expert guidance, and employee development. The study underscores the importance of contextualized policy design and sector-specific strategies to foster effective and sustainable IIMS adoption in diverse business environments.
