Abstract (PL)
Rynki i place stanowią jedną z najważniejszych przestrzeni miejskich, zarówno pod względem funkcji jak i układu urbanistycznego. Poprzez zmiany na przestrzeni lat w ich funkcjonowaniu, wiele z nich zaczęło tracić swoją atrakcyjność. Niestety w wielu przypadkach działania mające na celu przywrócenie dawnej świetności układom miejskich powodują pogłębianie się postępującej degradacji. Poprzez zastosowanie analizy porównawczej postanowiono przedstawić jak rynki i place na terenie Wielkopolski zmieniały się w ostatnich latach i wskazać kierunki działań rewitalizacyjnych, które wpływają negatywnie zarówno na przestrzeń i środowisko.
Abstract (EN)
Markets and squares are one of the most important urban spaces, both in terms of function and and urban layout. Through changes over the years in their functioning, many of them have begun to lose their attractiveness. Unfortunately, in many cases, efforts to restore the former splendor of urban layouts result in the deepening of progressive degradation. Through the use of comparative analysis, it was decided to show how the markets and squares in the Wielkopolska region have changed in recent years and to identify the directions of revitalization activities that negatively affect both space and the environment.
