Abstract (PL)
Traktowanie nasion odmiany Amsterdamska I, sokiem z rokitnika o ostężeniu 1% poprawiło ich energię kiełkowania i zdolność kiełkowania w stosunku do nasion nietraktowanych. Nasiona obu odmian traktowane roztworami
o stężeniach 5, 10, 15 i 25% kiełkowały szybciej niż nasiona kontrolne.

Abstract (EN)
The aim of the research was to determine the effect of sea buckthorn juice on the germination, vigour and health of carrot seeds of the Amsterdam I and Amsterdam II varieties. The seeds were soaked in 1, 5, 10, 15, 25, 50, 75% solutions of sea buckthorn juice and 100% sea buckthorn juice for 30 min. The control
consisted of untreated seeds. The seeds of both varieties were of different quality. Treating the seeds of both varieties with 100% sea buckthorn juice reduced their colonization by the fungi A. alternaria and Fusarium spp. and increased the percentage of fungi-free seeds compared to the control. Treatment of seeds of the
Amsterdamska I variety with sea buckthorn juice at a concentration of 1% improved their energy and germination capacity compared to untreated seeds. Seeds of both varieties treated with sea buckthorn juice solutions at concentrations of 5, 10, 15 and 25% germinated faster than untreated seeds.
