Field experiments were carried out in 2020–2021 to assess the chemical control of Tetranychus urticae (TSSM) in sugar beet. Several acaricides representing different chemical classes and modes of action were tested. Treatments included spirodiclofen at 240 g (22.11%), a combination of hexythiazox at 250 g (23.15%) and fenpyroximate at 51.2 g (5.02%), paraffin oil-based insect/oacaricide at 770 g L–1 (89.6%), and abamectin at 18 g (1.88%). Untreated plants were used as the control. Applications were performed at the peak of the growing season, during the leaf rosette formation stage (July–August). Yield and technological quality parameters were recorded after treatment. Significant differences were found between treated and control plots. Across the two years, 12 of 13 traits showed significant variation, except for the alkalinity factor. Chemical treatments improved both yield and sugar quality compared with the control. These results confirm the effectiveness of chemical control in reducing TSSM damage and improving sugar beet production.
