Znaczenie zadłużenia gmin wiejskich dla poziomu życia ludności

dc.abstract.enThe observed differences in the standard of living of the residents of gminas, i.e. the basic units of local government in Poland, regardless of their type, prompt research seeking to identify the factors that influence this diversity. One of them may be the financial condition of gminas, including their debt. The aim of the study discussed in the article was to determine the multidimensional relationships between the level of rural gminas’ debt and the standard of living of their inhabitants based on canonical analysis. The study concerned 1,513 rural gminas and used data for 2022 from the Local Data Bank of Statistics Poland and the Ministry of Finance. The analysis shows that the values of the variables describing the debt of rural gminas explain less than 5% of the variances of the variables from the set describing the standard of living of the gminas’ residents. The results of the canonical analysis indicate a slight correlation between the sets of variables under consideration.
dc.abstract.plObserwowane różnice w poziomie życia mieszkańców gmin – podstawowych jednostek samorządu terytorialnego w Polsce – niezależnie od ich typu, skłaniają do podejmowania badań mających na celu identyfikację czynników wpływających na to zróżnicowanie. Jednym z nich może być kondycja finansowa gmin, w tym zadłużenie. Celem badania omawianego w artykule jest określenie za pomocą analizy kanonicznej wielowymiarowych zależności między zadłużeniem gmin wiejskich a poziomem życia ich mieszkańców. Badanie, obejmujące 1513 gmin wiejskich, opiera się na danych z Banku Danych Lokalnych GUS i Ministerstwa Finansów za 2022 r. Z przeprowadzonej analizy wynika, że znajomość wartości zmiennych opisujących zadłużenie gmin wiejskich pozwala wyjaśnić tylko niecałe 5% wariancji zmiennych ze zbioru opisującego poziom życia mieszkańców. Rezultaty analizy kanonicznej wskazują na występowanie niewielkiej zależności między rozpatrywanymi zestawami zmiennych.
