Abstract (EN)
The subject of this study is a proposal to improve the susceptibility to changes in systemic kitchen furniture by rational dimensional unification of kitchen components and without worsening their ergonomics. The chapter describes different types of kitchens, taking into account the spatial arrangement and the area they occupy. The role of modular ordering of individual elements was indicated and guidelines for the standardization of dimensions of contemporary kitchens were defined. The conclusions obtained thanks to the dimensional analysis of kitchen cabinets available on the Polish market are presented. Considering the aspect of ergonomics of kitchen furniture in terms of use by people with special needs, modern solutions increasing the comfort and safety of use were presented. At the same time, companies that deal with the implementation of this type of solutions were indicated and the importance of the issues was emphasized, indicating the multitude of scientific publications in this field. While defining the possibilities of taking up the problem of
dimensional typization, and therefore choosing a given unification criterion, the role of selecting an appropriate ergonomic method for measuring the nuisance of kitchen use was indicated.
