dc.abstract.enThe paper focuses on selected legal aspects related to taking land out of agricultural or forestry production in order to extract minerals. It presents regulations pertaining to the discussed subject and is an attempt at answering questions about: defining the moment when a decision on permitting the taking of land out of production is required, determining when the taking of land is permanent and when it is temporary, and specifying the area of land that is to be taken out of production.
